Half of my family are catholics and probably a third of them are Spurs supporters and i can gaurantee none of them would give two shits about St tottinghams day, let alone be offended by it.

An agnostic doesn't deny religion or existence of the divine but he thinks there is no way we can know or understand anything about any of if.

No because it wasn't an argument, it was me telling you what I thought about the subject matter and you said what you thought. Are you really that desperate for "wins" that you consider that winning, be my guest. For it to even be considered a winner there would have to be a theory or similar being disproven or alternatively the "loser" would have to be convinced that he was wrong in the first place. I wasn't even trying to convince you guys that St. Totteringhamsday was pathetic, I was just telling you that I thought it was no better than what Spurs fans were accused of earlier. I still think it's pathetic though, but so is a lot of other things regarding supporters in general.

Actually, pathetic keeps being the keyword in here :)

PPS. I read about Spurs fans celebrating the odd victory over Arsenal, which is AT LEAST equally pathetic.

You're entitled to that opinion. :)

I do like to represent a different view on things though. It's healthy to look at issues from different angles. It's sometimes difficult to spot tongue in cheek, irony and sarcasm on the net if you're not exaggerating severely, but it keeps things interesting to do it without being overly obvious. I'm speaking in general, not particularly this discussion.

Carlos Vela said in an interview that he would leave Real Sociedad at the end of the season and sees as a possibility to make use of the 4 million buy clause from Arsenal. Do you think he might be the one... again?
 
In a twisted way the end of this season is probably far more amusing when your team doesn't have anything to win or lose. Tears will flow on the last day.
 
It cant get much better, we have two games where we can rest players for the final now, if we dont win it it will be very bad!

No crazy last game of the Prem to get 4th spot.
 
I thought we would see a bit more rotation than this!

Hopefully we have a couple of goals by half time and and sub a couple off early.

I know we have to keep up the momentum for the final, but still.

I'm just praying nobody else gets injured!
 
Wesbrom didn't stretch us and we felt cozy playing compact. Ramsey is so impressive we usually score more gols when he's on .
 
I was expecting more rotation too, but I think Wenger wanted to end the season at home on a high note.
Now for the last fixture away he will surely rest his players, maybe allowing a few cameos in the 2nd half from Özil, Ramsey, etc. Just to keep them sharp.

But maybe it isn't worth the risk. This FA Cup final is the most important match in a long time, and we already have so many out injured - Walcott, Wilshere, Chamberlain, Gibbs (PS: All English! I wonder if Wilshere and Ox will miss the WC too).

I didn't notice anything special regarding Sagna. Did he do the lap around the stadium or something hinting he is off in the summer? I think he will go.
But to another Premier League club, as reports suggest? It doesn't add up.
Some sources say that Sagna wanted to stay, but at an improved contract and a couple of years more - maybe Wenger offered him a standard 1-year contract like he usually does for players over 30.
But Sagna deserved better treatment, and considering the level and consistency he's been showing, I think he was capable of being our first choice RB for another 2 seasons.
Oh well.
 
I heard we offered him a two year deal for about 80k a year and he wanted a 3 year deal for 100k.

Ive also heard that no matter what Arsenal offered he would still leave as he wants to try something new in his last few years.

I have also heard that he wants one last bumper pay cheque before he retires.

Who knows what is happening really?

I think he probably has one more year in him for playing the kind role Arsenal need from their RB/WB.

I wish him well and look to the future.
 
Who should we get as RB replacement then? We surely can't expect Jenkinson to step up seamlessly to first team status.

People say great things about Coleman, from Everton. But I'm not sure he's all that. He played well against us, but I've seen matches where he wasn't that great.
Matthieu Debuchy, maybe? I've got mixed feelings about him, but I think he improved. Two seasons ago I saw him having nightmarish performances, but he lately he's much more solid.

Wenger seems to enjoy looking at the World Cup shopping window too. That's how we got Gilberto Silva for instance. So who knows, he may find a Hatem Trabelsi and actually sign them this time around :P
 
We were linked with the young German Sebastian Jung from Frankfurt in the past. He could be a really good replacement for Sagna if you ask me. I bet he would have a great impact on our team.
 
That happened to a girl on my street, she became a mum and a grandmother 3 months later.
