does my little bros ps2 need to be chjipped for me to put all the updats on it???

i have the superpatch, with stadiums boots ect ect and he wants it as he just had the standard pes6 but his ps2 isnt chipped.

can it be done?
 
Well if you want to use patches, you're gonna have to burn the game with the patch onto a blank disc. And to run the game, your console needs to be able to run backup discs.
Chipping the console is one method but there are others too.

ps2 hard drive, for the old model ps2 you'll need a network adapter to connect the hd to, you can either buy an original copy of hd loader/advance or you can use the exploit to boot the ps2 with an original ps1 disc then run hd loader off the memory card/hd, if he has the slim model then he'll need usb extreme/advanced and there's no guarantee the game will work as compatibility isn't as great as hd loader

are they hardware or are they downloadable?
