Seems to be a problem related to te v-sync. Try to enable from Nvidia control panel. For me doesn’t work and the game is still unplayable. Someone sets replay to 30fps and the game runs better. Konami announced today that will release a patch to re-add the v-sync to game settings. Read some post back, there are other suggestions but for me nothing work fine.
My configuration is i7-8700, 16gb ram and rtx2070.
Let me know if you resolve.

So will I enable v-sync from NVIDIA Control Panel?
I will let you know how I get on.
 
Every time I get into the game it download and apply the last "live update", and it also happens when I start a new match...even If I click "yes" when it asks "do you want to save (or overwrite) new data?".
EVERY TIME....How can I fix that?

Yeah I had this even with the demo...fix is to go to video settings in game ..keep everything as you have it but put the crowd to Low. Worked 100% for me & I don't spend time looking at the crowd so makes no difference to me graphically.
 
I cant stand it!! i applied live update, everything is ok in exhibition, but in league mode or edit mode i have old rosters.. Anyone has the same?

This doesn’t work for me :(
 
I really love this game. Played Inter Milan - 7 games in league mode top player. Goals are so various, many of them from headers on manual, so much physicality and randomness on the pitch
 
My frame-rate even when recording doesn't go lower than 95 FPS but I'm still getting slowdowns and a bit of stutter at times.

Is this just a 'New game' thing where all the drivers aren't fully integrated yet?

I also noticed everytime PES 2020 went online, it always call http://pes20-x64-gate.cs.konami.net/ or 34.210.179.237 Maybe if we blocked that IP, PES 2020 will stop applying online updates ( also stop from playing online ).

I haven't tried this yet, but I'm thinking that we can edit the hosts file (C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc) with notepad and add the following:

127.0.0.1 pes20-x64-gate.cs.konami.net
0.0.0. pes20-x64-gate.cs.konami.net
127.0.0.1 gate.cs.konami.net
0.0.0.0 gate.cs.konami.net
127.0.0.1 34.210.179.237
0.0.0.0 34.210.179.237
