FIFA08 PS3 - Manager Mode Problem

hey guys,

i'm doing manager mode, first season as manchester united. after i play west ham (cup game) - the game hangs at SIMULATING 60%. i restarted and played the game again, and it keeps hanging at this position. is there anything i can do? i dont wanna start again!
