Freesync Not Working?

Hey All,

It used to be that freesync would function and my display would accurately report FPS, but lately I see my full monitor FPS of 165 even if I can plainly see a hiccup and most likely am actually in the 80Hz range. I suspect this means that there is some additional later between my monitor and the game and maybe this adds input lag as well?

I am using Bogo36s ultimate mod and have an GTX 3070 and Dell 2722DGM (1440p) for reference.

In the efootball settings, I'm running "full screen" but I think I have cycled between that and windowed borderless and not seen a change.

Would appreciate any suggestions.
 
By a happy coincidence, I just installed the .ini tweaks for 1440p and this issue went away... Input lag is definitely down and dribbling / headers feel amazing. Sad that I was experiencing this for at least a month... If you have my issue, I hope this works for you.
 
I'm able to see my true FPS in real time from my display and it's accurate, hovering at ~70.
