Mapping 6 Axis controller for PC

Lads,

I downloaded the 6 axis controller drivers and i play pes 6 with it since it has the option to map the buttons.

But for some other games things are really screwed up, rugby 08 and left for dead don't seem to let me map the buttons so i have an unplayble button configuration.

I am about to get into the world of nba2k9 and i fear i might have the same issue.

Any tip on how to solve this issue???
 
If anyone is interested, i found this software called Xpadder that gives you the ability to map controller to a game missing that option.
