mod only opens in notepad and explorer

Was wondering if anyone could help me out with my FIFA mod. I downloaded it but it only opens in notepad or explorer. I don't know how to get it back to its original state. it only opens in those two programs. I'm not sure how it got like that. I even downloaded the mod on somebody else's pc, transferred it to my pc but still just notepad and explorer. which settings on my pc should I change for it to go back to normal. I see the option where it says "open with", but i only has Microsoft store, notepad and explorer. Any help would be appreciated
