Benfica initially overpaid Atletico to get him big time in a move that really surprised me at the time but at least now, they got good $$$ back for him as well selling him to Zaragoza who've invested a lot and obviously have a lot of faith in him!

This deal is even stranger than the previous one when Roberto went to Benfica, Sina (and notice that his first transfer was investigated by the Portuguese Police, results yet to be seen). I can't understand why a club pays 8,6M€ for keeper who had an awful season being relegated to the transfer list at Benfica. Even knowing that Roberto is like a God to Zaragoza fans, I still can't get it. Moreover, the Spanish club is on the verge of bankruptcy.

PS: Some Zaragoza foruns are saying that there's a debt between Benfica and the Spanish club regarding to Aimar's transfer. The Argie costed 6,5M€ so may there's an explanation for that deal.

Malbranque back to France after 10 years.

To Lyon's (where he started) local rivals, St. Etienne! Still a decent player so he should be good purchase. Is he replacement for Payet though or did Les Verts already get someone else? Because although still quality, he doesn't have the legs he used to anymore and will soon be declining even further.
