pes2008 froze on me today after I downloaded mcroix optionfile 1.1.

The game froze after i picked manutd (me) and liverpool (com) for an eximbition match. I wanted to check out the kits :).

Anyways the game froze right before the imgages of the two blue manikins wearing the kits for the home and away selection of kits before the match.

I had to shut down ps3 manually not using the controller. When I played again it worked fine.

However did this happen because of the optionfile?

remove the option files you put on and try the game again, if it works try putting the options files back on, you have just it on wrong the first time round, which option file you using?
 
Mines froze loads, i have a feeling it might have something to do with the kits, (the mc croix ones) if you dont select them at the selection screen quick enough then the music stops and it freezes, just the same as yours, i havnt got the 1.1 file yet thou, more flaws...
im trying but am losing patience
 
mine froze in edit mode, after i spent like 45 mins editing aswell. SO frustrating!
 
Mine used to freeze at the same place.

Are you downloading any demo? I think it was that. I paused the demos and the game worked again...
