does any body know wat type of media i should get 2 back up my we9 so i can patch it, is it dvd+r or dvd-r?

It depends on what your PS2 will play. Some like DVD-R and some like DVD+R.

I use DVD-R.

Q: Will Swap Magic3 work with DVD+R backups?
A:You can use either DVD+ or DVD- disc for your backup, but make sure you
need to use the IMAGE COPY mode for backing up your disc

well i uses DVD-R at 4x

some brands didnt work on my PS2 which are MELODY and LG
i use DATALIFE and they say SONY and TDK also works
