Ah.. just asked my brother if he wanted to buy it as he was after the PS3 version but he just said hes going to wait and see what GH4 is like later in the year before choosing

That's true. Not even a release date yet is there for PS3, UK?!

With the American Rock Band they have been releasing DLC every week (I think?), will they be doing the same with the UK version? And will it possibly be more UK known bands? And dare I say it...some current UK bands? (The Kooks, The Pigeon Detectives, The Wombats, The Enemy, The Fratellis etc)

Metallica would be better than Pigeon Detectives. I mean, Metallica actually have riffs, the PDs are just repetitive chords with a non existent bass!

Well my radio has sold on ebay for £65 :DANCE:. So I now have enough for Rock Band. Sadly play.com will only deliver the instruments package to the billing address, which means no one will be in to accept it so I'll have to end up ringing Parcelforce and trying to arrange another delivery. Could be tricky...

When I played RB in my brothers, I had a feeling that I strummed and at times it didn't recognise but persuaded myself it must've been me being crap or something.

Seems there is a problem with guitars strumming down and there's a fix for it, I'll be looking into that I think. There also seems to be a problem with the tilt sensor not working right, which was also something I noticed and I'll see if I can tweak. Funny really, I also had to open my Xplorer guitar that I got with GH2 as the whammy bar didn't work on that (another common problem) and that needed opening and tweaking.

Jay, there's 3 kinds of drum sets. EL (mine) is the first version and the sensitivity is worse than the other sets. Then there's another (QW or something) where apparantly the sensitivity is slightly too much. Then another set but not much is known about that.

Never had any problems with my set, except I noticed the tilt sensor being really weird - sometimes I had to shake the guitar. But I never use it anyway.

Whenever you start RB, you struggle with the guitar. I was a good GH player and when I played RB, the first hour I was convinced the kit was knackered. I think its the slightly longer travel on the strum and the lack of click, throws your internal timing off.

Once you get used to it, all the GH skills come back!

Agreed.

I am agreeing with Coopz more and more these days...maybe my head does need looking at ;)).

There are some seriously good songs out for DLC at the moment guys! :DD
