You may have been unable to access the site today if you're unfortunate enough to be using Internet Explorer. This is due to a problem with SiteMeter, which is a stats tracking system we and many other sites use.

I've stopped the SiteMeter code being used so access should be restored. Once the issue has been fixed we will change it back and all should be well with the world.

Incidentally, we (I) strongly recommend the use of FireFox or Opera anyway.
 
That's good to know, it might only be certain flavours of IE then.
