Release is rumoured to be next Spring, which hopefully means they can make a good go of this.

  • The story starts where the latest Batman movie finished.
  • Grapple-hook & Batmobile are in, other weapons & vehicles to follow
  • Free-roaming Gotham City environment, "GTA-styled"
This has great potential. Would love to have to attend meetings, wine & date your women as Bruce Wayne, then have the Batman logo beamed into the sky and you shit yourself on the way into your suit. Acting out scenarios similar to the one in the movie where the
Joker has got both the girl and Dent wired up would be awesome.

The game hasn't been confirmed on the 360 or PC, but there's been much talk that it's definitely on PS3, but I'd guess this will be multi-platform, it's got revenue all over it.

Another rumour burger! Let's pile this one atop the other Pandemic Batman ones and just chow down. According to Australian Gamer, the staff working on Pandemic's Batman game - which was being developed at the studio's Brisbane outpost - have been told to wind things up. Game's cancelled. Why? Seems it missed too many deadlines, and "the higher ups" - either EA or Pandemic HQ - decided it was time to cut their losses. Do try and keep the already-tiring "why so serious" jokes to a minimum, please.
