The Movies Thread

The Kingdom (BD) - 9/10

I watched Hot Fuzz on TV recently and I hated it, I could only tolerate an hour before I stopped and deleted it, based on that hour I'd give it a 5/10.

'Four Christmas's' or whatever it's called.

Wasn't expecting much - but there were actually some really funny bits in it.

7/10

Saw Da Vinci Code last night, i loved it. Great concept, great enigma, good actors, amazing storyline in the end the second best movie that i watched this year.

Seven Pounds - 9/10

Incredible movie. Really good story, one of the best acting performances I've seen from Will Smith, just a top movie.

Eagle Eye

Not great but the story was well written (despite the boring 20 1st minutes).
I know it's the base of the movie (run, run, run) but I don't like this type of movie, it always ends poorly (and that was the case).
Oh, and I can't stand Labeouf.

6/10

Rendition - 8/10

The ending could have be told in a better way but I still enjoyed it.

Tokyo Gore Police

See the trailer above. I got the DVD today and it's the craziest movie I've ever seen... and I've seen some fucked up movies.

The first hour of Hot Fuzz is only bearable for me, and I'm a huge Pegg/Frost/Wright fan. The rest of it is brilliant though.

Still not a patch on Shaun of the Dead.

Rush Hour 3 - 7/10

Some funny moments but no where near as good as Rush Hour 2.
