^ im not trying to fuel a 360 vs PS3 war! im just sick of all this bullshit about the PS3 being better... they are both very comparable machines.. End Of Story as far as im concerned.

I'm all for a weekend in Leipzig!! For me it's about a 4,5 hour drive, but well worth it imo. I'm there!!

this couldnt be planned better for me either, i missed out on comic con and the leipzig show last year but this year i have 2 grand in the bank, my contract ends with my employers at the beginning of august (by which time i should have 3 grand) and i have 2 months before uni starts....I....AM....FRICKING....GOING

If they allow you take pictures/photos ive a very good camera (or camera phone in case i have to be sneeky, so i can upload as much stuff as possible)

I beleive(almost 100% positive) that x360 version was just like this one, only with 6 months in developement. Because seabass stated that x360 game was build from scratch. Thats why it wasnt so goo dSo when its released this year it will have 18months under the belt. .(of course it ll be the same on all platforms) What do you think?

To long a wait for myself aswell, ive managed to snag my brother into the idea aswell and hes got an immense video camera. This genuinley does seem to be happening, i took a day off work today because ive got a nasty throat infection and thought today was going to be shite, but now hearing this news has made my entire weekend...woot!!!!!!!!!!

that's what i think exactly, but i might buy a ps3, just so that i can play pes2008 with my preffered controller, but in terms of graphic, i belive both counsels will look the same;)

Konami a profité de l'IDEF, le salon cannois, pour nous glisser quelques détails intéressants au sujet de Pro Evolution Soccer 2008. Pour la première fois, la version japonaise sera identique à celle disponible en Europe cet automne. La raison est simple, les développeurs n'ont plus les ressources afin de concevoir différentes versions pour les trois marchés (Japon, Etats-Unis et Europe).

Selon l'éditeur, les versions destinées aux consoles nouvelle génération PS3 et Xbox 360 devraient être identique d'un point de vue technique. Malheureusement, il faudra encore patienter jusqu'à la fin du mois d'août avant de pouvoir rechausser les crampons puisque Pro Evolution Soccer 2008 sera dévoilé pour la première fois - en version jouable - lors de la Games Convention, le salon allemand qui se tiendra à partir du 22 août dans la ville de Leipzig.

The reason is simple, the developers do not have more the resources in order to design various versions for the three markets (Japan, the United States and Europe). According to the editor, the versions intended for the consoles news generation PS3 and Xbox 360 should be identical from a technical point of view. Unfortunately, it will still be necessary to have patience until the end of August before being able to bank up the cramps since Pro Evolution Soccer 2008 will be revealed for the first time - in playable version - at the time of Games Convention, the German living room which will be held from August 22 in the town of Leipzig.

Yesterday in Cannes (France) was the IDEF Expo. Konami told a fiew things about PES 2008 to the journalists:
- For the first time, Japanese version will be the same as the European one, as they don't have any resources to develop a different game for each zone
- Technically there won't be any differences between X360 and PS3 versions (personally i believe that they talk about graphics, i hope PS3 will have more content)
- The game will be playable at the Games Convention in Leipzig (but you all know that ^^)

Ps: Those lucky journalists even had the opportunity to play Uncharted Drake's Fortune and Heavenly Sword :D

If all regions are going to have an exact same copy, then why is it being released in japan in winter and in autumn for europe?

Hmm... :roll:

What kind of extra content do people think the PS3 version could have? I think it could be things like a few extra boots, balls or stadiums.

I think there will be no differences at all. Only thing is that it will be developed on the PS 3 and ported to the 360 and the PC.
I don't like the news the game is in Leipzig for the first time to play. I am afraid the beta testers will not receive their copys much earlier as well :(
That means no early info from moving pictures, I think...

Also, US distributors (extremely big ass ones) are talking about a December release for Pro Evo in USA.

why is PES08 also limited with graphics and all technology by XBOX360? GTA IV will be peace of sh1t because XBOX360 has no default hard drive. it menas I wont buy PS3, there is no reason. I play only PES and if it will be identical, why pay much more? just for sixaxis controler because I was using dual shock? no way. kick Konami and Seabass ass, SONY. whats wrong??
