WE9 option files: pc to psp to ps2?

does anyone know if it is possible to download a custom option file for WE9 ps2 on pc and then transfer it to the ps2 with the psp using the connectivity between the two versions instead of using a maxdrive? if so, how can one do this? i'd like to know if it is possible before choosing whether to buy the psp version of WE9 or a maxdrive.
