What does cursor speed do?

If I ever download option files, it is set to manual.

But I have always played with the bar half filled as it is originally.

What is the difference?

Also what does GK cursor do?
 
i think its the speed of which control switches betwen your players.
i have it set to manual because because sometimes the a.i is a bit slow.
 
the GK Cursor means that when you press to change to another man, it can also select your keeper...a bit annoying especially when you dont want it to move to your keeper-you end up moving him out of position leaving an easy gap for the opponent to score.
