Are the ball physics in PES 6 better than 5 because it's newer or does 5 have better ball physics? What game has the more unique animations and freekick taking?

For me PES 5 (WE9) have better ball physics, but PES 6 have more freekick taking animations

I thought PES6 had the best, it just felt so intuitive, no guide, just a little nudge left/right until you felt you had a good angle, just the right amount of power and then pulling down on the stick for dip. you always felt like you earned the goal if it went in, and it was your own fault if you just missed.

Taking the games to the side for a moment, PS2 versions, I've scored great free kicks. PC, it's so difficult to score for me. Hit the bar a few times, but no goal.
