I wonder what is the official statement from Konami regarding the difference between WE 2008 and PES 2008. I have WE2008 and most of my friends have the PES and we often engage in this discussion bout the differences between the two and which is a better game to play!
To me, I have not played PES 2008 long enough to notice a difference. I am a die-hard WE fan, and I would choose WE over PES in any given day.
but other than the Japanese commentator and better handling of slow-downs in WE 2008, what is the difference? I heard that WE 2008 is also a little faster and more streamlined.
Anybody has the two games and noticed a significant diffenrence or it is just same shit different name

and yes players names in WE 2008 are crap comparing to PES, and maybe the online play is also better in 2008.
