We have no control over what ads are shown on the site, all I can recommend is getting an Ad Blocker or something similar then they will annoy you no more
 
I passed on the complaint, with a bit of luck word will get through to the advert people and we won't get ones with sound again...
 
It would appear to be back at the moment.
 
I think most users will have Firefox with Adblock and Filterset.G Updater so won't notice there's any there.

I guess ads are what earns Evo-Web money to pay for hosting etc. so maybe some people don't like to block them.

The ads are purely for the hosting, we don't earn from them as such.
 
Wow it's really odd I'm looking for a good golf game and I've read Pro Stroke is really good but every time i see it in the shops I just have to grab it off the shelf and stamp up and down on it..... errrmmm strange that!! :eek: :ram: ;)

Ah well, I'd much rather the adverts were for Pro Evo and raised money for Seabass to add lower leagues than adverts for magazines and viagra.
 
Unfortunately now FIFA have gone down the "People only want to play with the top teams" road I can't see Pondtrout being too bothered about adding lower league teams... He always struck me as a Soccer fan anyway.... I think we need a Team outside of EA and Konami of proper football fans to sit down Rip Konami's game play off and produce a fully customisable and patchable game.....The big titles are all about sales and marketing now!!

They're just replacing the ones that were there for WE10/PES5. Any money raised only goes towards my "review copies."

Still chasing this up with the hosts at the minute, sorry for the wait but I've given them all the info they need to make sure the ads with sound don't crop up.
 
Still, I'm glad it now appears on the box ad at the bottom instead of just the banner at the top. Awesome.
 
I've only noticed it on the box ad recently so that's gone from the forums for now. Please keep me up to date with any sightings.
