Anyway to replicate the World Cup on Winning Eleven 10?

Has anyone tried the format of the International Challenge?
Once you qualify, how are the groups and knockouts placed?
Is it the same as WC 2002 or is it the one of 2006 ?

think it happened in 1990

england won their group and i think ireland & holland finished with identical records with egypt finishing bottom

if i remember right ireland went through after drawing lots and went on to play romania

They used to draw lots but anyway that time all 3 went through. Ireland got to the quarters, when they lost to Italy in Rome. England went to the semi's where they lost to West Germany in Turin. The Dutch got to the second round and went out in Milan to West Germany also (the famous Voeller and Rijikijaaard spitting game - both got red cards). All the games in that group were drawn except England 1 - Egypt 0.

It was the same in USA 1994 when Ireland, Mexico and Italy all got through from a group with Norway.

In 1998 they changed the format with the 32 teams instead of 24.

Anyone tried doing the Konami Cup and seeing if thats set up to work?

Fair enough it wont be 'the world cup' but the fixtures etc... might be correct
