I know. I think its Alex Ferguson and the way he goes about his business dealings is what gets in the way. I think United do things backwards. with the going through agents first, trying to tap up the player. Instead of actually doing it the correct straight forward way,contacting the club and reaching an agreemnent, then gain permission to speak to the player.United rather wait untill they get through the agent that the player actually wants to sign fro united then after they contact the club and try and reach an agreement.

Is this the rewards of CL money.....I thing AW learned from last summer not to talk and just get.ManU have too many ears and eyes open,but I think we`re heading a new era(media leaks=the new enemy)Where Arsenal signing will start a new trend.Now,we see what Roman Army can do...I see them paying Private eyes on other clubs so they can buy

This may actually come as a shock to you but have you considered that the player might have actually wanted to join us over everyone else, including United?

Plus I don't think "we have just signed him like that". We have been after him for a year now, we almost bought him in January.

Well goons in 2 days we will see Walcott in action,can he do what Rooney does and ,if so what happens to Van Persie or Adebayor.I say sell Van Persie get Fernando Torres why?we need speed

Adeboywhore is quite fast dont you think? just abit clumsy with his finishing. Also reyes has got speed but like ronaldo is wastful at times with the ball

I would like to see a quality centre-back come in, plus another forward, Torres would be nice!

A nice positive signing, an experienced player to help guide and improve our youngsters. Oh I love it when we sign players...Especially Wenger, he is usually spot on. Hopefully Tomas will fit into our squad nicely!

Hopefully he doesn't get Horsed in the world cup - knowing our luck recently, he will probably break his leg in three places and his Metartasel thingy magigy will go AWOL!

I wonder who else we will buy? and even sell? Oh I can't wait!!

Rosicky is hurt constant and for years in the bundesliga not that brought, which he promised. the videoclip from youtoube is not really meaningfully.

he says the video in youtube sucks and it repeats the same goals over and over again ... but overall good signing by arsenal , the big question really is , can he perform well in premiership

Wenger apparently wants to bring in Owen for around £12m. I think that would be a great signing, I can picture him forming a nice partnreship with titi up front. I doubt he would say no to us over Newcastle, time will tell I guess.

I couldn't find a link, but it was the main sports story in the Evening Standard. It said he has a clause in his contract allowing him to leave at that price and we wouldn't have a problem because of the "£20m" we got from the Champions League.

I think he wanted Van Persie to step up (AW opportunity speech)I feel in my opinion Goons....RVP has a weak form and a BAD temperament,I`m sorry if I offended any of you Goons.I`ll take it back;)

spot on rune, but i also feel like hleb and rosicky are very similair.... but many on here feel he is more like pires...

definitely...completely agree!! Like Hleb, Rosicky is also a dribbling of the ball rather than a passer and shooter like Pires. Im sure Rosicky will be a hell of a player but I feel, like Hleb and maybe Ballack, he'll need to adapt to the pace of the premiership
