KennyM has gone....

One of our original site members has today decided to leave for good. He has decided enough is enough with the whole debate of which is the better football game and can no longer be arsed arguing the point.

I for one wish him all the best

Shite, he was a good member as well, the fact that he listened to us about what to play and video before he went to Leipzig demonstrates that. Such a shame, is there no way to change his mind?

He got sick of arguing the same point over and over in the FIFA and PES threads and asked me to delete his account. He may be back in time, who knows

Well if you speak to him online any time soon tell him that he was a great member and that he'll be missed. Gutted about that, seriously - we had disagreements but in the end he was a good sensible mature poster.

Some people just need to realise all them debates and arguments are useless. I've never in my life argued with any human about a fucking game. Only happened here and to me it is really stupid and i find it rather immature. Too bad he had to leave. But tbh he's done the right thing for now. Some immature people just can't help not rant and hate on a game. It is really simple if you think of it, it is a matter of taste, you like the game, buy it, you don't like it, then don't. Why waste energy? Maybe i think this way because i'm not a teenager. I like to think of games in a different way. If i like a game then thank you creator of the game even if it had flaws, because he atleast made it happen and its better than many other games that i don't like (which i do not go on a public rant fest for). Plus all the time and effort given to create a game i like, should have some appreciation.

Anyway... Kenny.. Hope you come back when the time is right (you know, when all immature ones go to sleep ;) )

I cant believe he left over a debate on FIFA vs PES. Its not something that should make you want to leave. If someone disagrees with you then its just their opinion. If he got flamed a lot then I can understand in a way why he has left, Also if people did flame him then they should be reprimanded (banned). Thats the problem with forums, you get too many people flaming and not posting useful things or they opinions. I sometimes find it hard NOT to post a retaliation but sometimes I think "Ah sod it its only some twat on the other side of the world"

I think I might fuck off for a week or so as well (until the FIFA 08 demo's out so I can come back and give impressions on it). I woke up this morning to five new pages over two threads of "FIFA IS BETTER, LISTEN" - "NO, FANBOY, PES RULES, GET IT INTO YOUR THICK HEAD", it's getting absolutely ridiculous. Even decent posters are at it and it's doing my head in.

leaving a internet forum over a game is very petty imo

like someone said forums are where debates are had so its expected that people argue

why didnt he just step out of the arguments or block certain people?

Oh and enjoy yourself wherever you end up matey :)

Just skim though the shit posts like i do and you have no worries

i dont see why you need to argue your point, people like it or they dont and until we all play them both none of us can say which is better

I don't know why people take these things on an internet forum so seriously! At least over here, unlike real life, you can just ignore the posts and move on to another thread.

It is all petty, but I don't expect anything less from a community dedicated to one game whose demographic consists mainly of 15-22 year olds.

Couldn't agree more.

Think people need to take a step back and realise it's just a stupid game, hardly life changing ffs.

I also hate when people say 'delete my account', why not just delete the forum from your favourites list and never come back. Surely it isn't that hard, or is it?

I do wonder how many of the older members have got to now.

The guy was becoming obsessed...and i agree with FD...if you don't want to come to a forum just leave...
And CW, you of all people should stay objective.
Djdoc was the first to start useless debates with others (non-intended maybe, because he seemed a decent person).
What he should have done is take a break and come back after admitting his mistakes...
It doesn'thurt to apologize, i do it all the time...
 
Asking for your account to be banned is a tad on the melodramatic side.

Oh well though, I'm sure this site will go through a resurgence with the release of the game and the PS3 editing enlightenment that will happen.

I told him he'd be gone after the months and months of shit he'd given ThomasGOAL, who unlike djdoc actually contributed to this forum, hwich I think ended in doc's racist remarks.
