Gamers are just more interwebs savvy it's a useless poll. EA worse than Bank of America etc lol. Says more about some pathetic gamers than world events

Exactly.

Obviously there are 100's if not 1,000's of people with valid complaints against EA, whether that be customers who got shafted, employees at small devs that were eaten and then made redundant etc. but to compare EA with the kinds of companies that cost lives, cost people their savings, their homes, their insurance, is a vile and sickening thing IMO.

Agree with Placebo on all of this. Whatever we think of them, EA are not worse than banks, tobacco, oil or gun companies. They're just far more likely to be voted for by people with rather petty agendas. They are aggressively commercial and corporate and brand-obsessed, they're not particularly soulful or benevolent or scrupulous. As games companies go they're probably one of the worst, sure. But their effects on the consumer pale in comparison to banks claiming homes or tobacco/alcohol companies pushing their products on the young with the intention of creating a lifelong, health-damaging addiction attached to a particular brand?

...oh. Well, you know what I mean.
