Wow... I'm happy that Portugal went through, but I'm actually kinda bummed with England's absence of this Euro 2008. I guess it'll feel weird. :(

Anyway, congratulations to Croatia, definitely deserved to qualify.

Well done to Croatia, played really well and look a very solid team. Hope they do well next summer, they look a tidy team.

As for us? Well, I said it in my post before. Like JB said, at least Mclaren will go which is good. Nobody wanted him in the first place, and the FA's arrogance has shot them in the foot now. Get Martin O'Neill in and get some fire into the players, get them playing with some heart and passion. Because under Mclaren we've lacked any kind of heart and we look a shambles.

I can't believe we're not in a major tournament. Even though we're always shit, we ALWAYS hope that we can go on and win it. How mad will it be to not even be there ....

Gutted.
 
I hope the FA are satisfied now, nobody want Mcclown but them and look where it got us. When they sack Mcclown they should walk out the door with him and let someone who knows something about football run the FA instead
 
I actually WANTED England to go through...honest

It would have papered over the cracks for another two years but now i fear that McLaren will be forced out there will be sweeping changes in the league, possible foreign player cap and huge investment in the youth setup

I'm sure i wasn't the only person to cringe, when Motty mentioned that perhaps Andorra could do England a favour. It's quite pathetic, isn't it?

England had their glaring chance handed to them on a plate by Israel. Did they take it?
Anyway, England wouldn't have performed at Euro2008, we all know that. Well done to all those that qualified and i look forward to watching it.
