Bayern Munich are Evo-Web Champions League CHAMPIONS

The final was played between Liverpool (son0toBoY) and Bayern Munich (j4yc3e). It was a tense affair playing the holders and Bayern Munich had a lot to prove.

Two quick long range strikes from Deisler and Makaay on the 20th and 25th minute gave Bayern Munich the lead going into the break. Liverpool had been pressing with their 3 strikers at the end of the half but could not convert a couple of scrapy goal mouth scrambles.

Both teams went into the second half after a couple of tactical changes and the game calmed down some what. On the 76th minute a cross whipped in by Ze Roberto landed to the feet of Pizzaro six yards out and he tucked it away to make it 3-0. Liverpool had a couple of last ditch attacks but could not seem to get past the Bayern defense.

Bayern took away the crown from Liverpool and became the Champions of Europe once again.
