Like the sounds of it, heard some good stuff about it in some quarters.

Although some have said some crazy missions i.e. Mammoth and Rhino?

Like the idea of when it's set.

I've got a wad of games to get through, but think I'll be picking this up over time.

Turn off all the UI shit and just enjoy the setting that's what I'm doing, no minimap, no waypoint arrows, no flashing for things I can pick up etc.
 
Yes and no, layout is similar based on the 2d comparison but you're not going to recognise anything from FC4 in it.
 
One thing they definitely should get credit for is supporting the DS4 fully, no software needed and displays DS4 icons, so many other devs completely ignore the DS4 and only support Xbox controllers especially with icons. Not sure if Ubi do the same in all their games?
