Fifa 13: Career Mode Discussions

There are web pages related to that. Also, you can check sofifa database. But IMO it is better to find them by yourself, with this little hint from your scout:
in FIFA13 they have added a little help when you look the the player profile: "exciting prospect" or "shows great potential".
 
Like you said Placebo, I'm going to take your advice and start a career mode with QPR:) I'll post another update with my final squad after transfer deadline day with results and some upcoming fixtures:) Until then!

Real Madrid offered £58,000,000 I countered with £72,200,000 and they accepted!!

My squad has been reinvented almost totally

I am noticing that certain star players form and performance goes down as the months/years roll by.

Carragher has retired, Lucas, Enrique, downing, kelly all sold on as they we losing me games.

Sahin went back to Madrid sadly, they said try to loan him or even buy him, yeah right!! His stock has rose alot due to his performances as an LFC star!! He was £25,000,000 at the start and for me to buy him Madrid wanted no less than £40,000,000!!!

I have Glen Johnson now as a sub, Purchased Muniesa at the end of his loan deal as his was a great find, solid young CB, Kyle Walker was brought in to in a way replace johnson and has done so, I brought in Kolorov as enrique requested transfer(so enrique and £2,000,000 went to city) Mario Gotze, Schurrle and David Silva comprise my defence, assaidi stays on wing where i have also placed cavani in a rotating role on opposite wing, Lewandowski replaced suarez, although kolorov was an ok replacement for enrique i wasnt satisfied so when Jordi Alba became available I snapped him up.

Joe Hart and Gonzalo Higuain endured a stop gap career with LFC as they had on off performances but in the end kept complaining so sold them on. Joe hart was bought for £7,000,000 and Barca expressed interest in him for I made a tidy £4,500,000 profit as he went for £11,500,000
 
yes, agree CM is getting boring. its got ALL the bells and whistles, but not feeling it as much. transfers are too easy. if you have the money, you can get them, as long as your not trying to bring ronaldo to southampton. my eye is wandering..

the player plus is broken... makes you able to off load players too easily.
 
I'e done a career mode with Liverpool too;) found that Suarez was a heaping pile of smelly dog shit compareed to Andy Carroll. Carroll is just unbelievably good:)

I know what you mean about carroll he scored a hat trick against chelsea when i brought him back but unfortunately I didnt quite have him in my plans so he went to dortmund in another player + cash deal. Alot of ppl don't seem to like it but I think it serves a purpose to help build a future.

I don't know if anyone else has noticed while sterling is a good player fifa has made him TOOO weak!! Defenders just barge him off the ball
 
Oh and a quick little tip to anyone who feels that career mode isn't feeling as fun as it should, whatever league you are in take out the big spenders for littler clubs, makes it so much more fun. E.g. if your say, Everton, in the prem, take out teeams like Moneybags City and Chelsea and maybe even Man Utd? Bundesliga, take out Dortmund (not rich but with players like Gotze and Reus, easily get alot of money) and Bayern. Anyway you get my point. :) And for anyone that doesn't know you can do this when your selecting what team you want to be the manager of at the beginning.:)

I have:) I buy him on like every career mode I do because of his potential, how good he is, and his price. And you have the almighty QPR youth system to thank for getting Sterling from us;)

I'm the type who likes to rotate my squad Chamakh, Lewandowski and Cavani as strike but he's quite a good finisher still I won the Copa Europe with a winner from a counter started by Chamakh(from a corner) through pass to cavani who hit it to assaidi who through ball lobbed the keeper for chamakh to smash a head home!! 2-1 90th min lol Quite pleased I got him cheap
 
Muniesa is a decent young center back, I got him on loan with option to buy from Barcalona. 68 rated but 72 inside a yr. quite cheap bought him £2.5

Try and look at lower aged/rated strikers from spain or germany they seem to have good ones. I loaned Morata from madrid but had too many strikers so didnt play him much but could have bought him for £1.5m at end of loan
 
Just went through my squad and put some players I won't use up for sale and realised I have no RB's except Bosingwa:L I need a cheap good back-up:L So far I've signed; Marvell Wynne, Raheem Sterling and Marouane Chamakh :)

Cant check atm cos I have AC 3 on pause but I think Muniesa can be utilised as RB, LB, CB & CM i think like Schurrle who I bought as a LM i didnt realise he could be used as LW, CAM, CF & ST also loads of advantages lol

Dont spoil dont spoil haha. Im only on sequence 4. I have FIFA, RE6, MOH:WF, Forza Horizon and ACIII 2 play atm and WWE 13 2moro lol Which is why I don't progress on games as quickly as other ppl.

Funny fact on FIFA is that when you enquire about a player and the club turns round and says "We are not prepared on letting this player join your club" all that does is make you think "AH A challenge" lol Which is why Eden Hazard is now an LFC player(I'm Belgiums international manager so got used to how he plays) haha
