FIFA World Cup Brasil 2014

There is a logical explanation for the drugs test for all these Costa Rica players. Before the tournament (or at the beginning, i'm not sure). Each country had to deliver a few players to do a drugs test. Costa Rica forgot to do that, that is the reason why more players were tested. They did that test post factum. In many sports Costa Rica would have been suspended for the tournament for that mistake (remember Rio Ferdinand).

Maradonna is a major asshole...
 
How refreshing to see a ref who doesn't fall for the theatrics of players. Amazing.

P. S. Watching Robben play like this in the WC makes me wonder what would've happened in S Africa had he not been injured during the group stage and had time to get back in form for the knockout and final game.
 
I think we have two possible outcomes of this match:

1. We see a whole country celebrating in ecstasy live on screen, although they didn't achieve anything yet.
2. We see a whole country falling into riots live on screen.
 
awful performance from our guys today. First 10-15 minutes were fine, everything else was just plain shit. Mexico even had penalty that wasn't given to them. Well, better luck next time (we seem to repeat that after every tournament).

I have nothing more to say really.

so disappointed I was expecting more from Croatia tbh, they were really really poor , special "big names" Modric and Rakitic.

I know right, in game vs Brazil I think he should have saved all 3 goals , also tonight 1st one (and most important imo)
 
Great result from Mexico, really seems like a composed team.
Today we played as if this was the first knockout stage match, too bad we won't have Vazquez to play Holland next sunday.. Marquez was pretty close to being sent off in a challenge in 1st half, that've been terrible for us!
 
Paulinho didnt contribute at all...but Gald that Mexico and Brazil are through. Croatia had it, but they lost it in the most important match. Still well played and can at least go home with heads held high unlike Spain...

Uruguay or Italy tonite? I want Italy to win, but I just don't see them being able to stick together to mark Suarez and Cavani. They just seem to crack with a simple cut through....

Well, I think they both were a bit handicapped because there was no real DMF in the team, so they couldn't risk that much at front and still cover behind if ball is lost.

I agree..this wasn't his best tournament at all.
