I can't understand how something so seemingly easy, and so important in the game, has not been fixed.

When a striker is left alone in front of the goalkeeper with a lot of space, the goalkeeper normally tries to close the gap, but for some years now the CPU goalkeepers have been staying under the goal.

Does anyone find this bothering them? Can it be fixed? Thanks to everyone.
 
Unfortunately, we've had this problem in soccer games for about a decade. And since most of the community doesn't complain about this problem, the companies will never address it properly.

The blame for this problem and other very serious ones lies with us, the community, who have spent all these years focusing more on whether they added boots, balls, or stadiums than on properly improving the gameplay to best reflect real soccer.

I have many videos on my YouTube channel talking about these problems... but the community seems more interested in other aspects.
 
For me, the solution to 95% of the gameplay problems is PES2019. The two goalkeeper variants, defensive and offensive, are enough for me.
I also enjoy running at the goalkeeper on my own for a 1vs.1 and having to decide whether to lob the ball, take a normal shot or a precise shot.
