Half Life 2 - Help

ive got half life 2 and installed and played it fine for ages. however I had to perform a system repair after some files got damaged and when i go to reinstall it, it comes up with an error, whilst trying to instal, saying that a file could not be installed and the disc may be corrupt or the process. Any ideas?

Try validating your steam files first.

This should check all your games files and if any are damaged or missing it should re-download them.

Ok, what you have to do, is get out your Super Gravity Gun, find a chair or something then shoot the guy standing next to the door. Then go past, and you'll see a massive helicopter, destroy the helicopter using only your pistol, and you should be ok.
