Watched the film over the weekend and thought it was a excellent remake of the series which incidently starts a re run on bbc2 tonight! The Arthur Dent character is played a bit different but overall a great film!

I thought the series was pish to be honest, although I am looking forward to watching the film sounds quite good by all accounts

I thought the film was brilliant :).

My Dad said it was very faithful to the books as well.

I thought the film was well a bit boring and why all the fucking yanks no offence

lol - i am reading it and wonder how they can possibly maintain the spirit of the book with yanks, too!

Dont even get me started about Fever Pitch.

go on, I'll get you started, I enjoyed the UK and US versions of Fever Pitch, though the second was more using the spirit\idea of sports fanatisism.
What about Mean Machine then?
