I keep getting a Disc 402 error everytime I try to connect, it happens on the DNAS screen...please help

that is a MACHINE ERROR

you may have one of the old playstation 2 versions which has trouble with DNAS

Isn't -402 a DNAS failure?

haha you guys are funny, I figured it out all I had to do was turn off the modchip...thanks anyways, so hard to get help these days..

If you have a modchip u have to turn it off. This is what I have to do to play online since i bought the original game but have a modded ps2.
