Is it just me or does is single player awful in fifa 09

Following the hype surounding fifa 09 i purchased a copy hoping for a better single player experience. However this game remains flawed(especially manager mode)when playing the AI. I'm currently playing MM on world class difficulty and shooting set to semi but cant score a goal even from 6-8 yards out. Either im sending the ball wide or the keeper is saving everything. To rub salt in it the ai seems to be able to predict when i go in for a tackle and move an inch away in a split second to eiher avoid the tackle or win a free kick.

Playing online however is much better experience (when your not playing Man U for the 100th time) but cant help getting hacked off by bull***t AI on world class difficulty. Played on professional but found it too easy.

Sorry if im going on but sortitoutEA the AI is a joke.:RANT:
 
I'm afraid it's just you...i love it and i'm supposed to be a the biggest PES fan of the universe...
