I can't get the little disc that comes with the Max Drive to work on my PSZ - is it possible to use a different disc to get access to the Max Drive? Like Action Replay???

As far as I know you have to use the disc that comes with the Max Drive in order to get it to work
 
I had a similar problem but I just kept resetting my ps2 over and over again and it eventually worked. It is very frustrating though!
