Mate, honestly i don´t know if you´re going to like the game since you didn't like any one of the series... You should have bought the season pass and could test the game 4 days before release, and you could test fifa 13 also. I suggest you to rent it or play in some friends house before buying it.

I tried the demo last night. I enjoyed it and of course the demo is very limited!

Game is pretty good. Got it for dirt cheap on Boxing Day. Haven't played the series since 2010. Shooting is still the same but with a lot more velocity and better puck physics. Hitting is toned down and skating is much improved.
I disagree, sliders can make the game better, much different than Fifa, for example, where not even sliders can make the game playable offline.

I found some good sliders on operation sports. Plus, playing on true broadcast cam has made the game a bit more challenging.
