PES 2019 Discussion Thread (PC)

Finally got the game to launch just by running the PES2019.exe as administrator. Strangely though this one of the first things I tried whe nit first started crashing and it didn't work.
 
Guys, I’ve encountered an issue since yesterday, and I’ve never seen this before; the game crashes back to desktop when loading a match between 2 unlicensed teams. I was playing a European championship match between Scotland and Greece and the game took me through the usual team/strip/lineup screen, but crashed when loading up the game. I’ve checked this doesn’t happen if one or two licensed teams are involved. Has anyone else had this? I thought about contacting Konami, but knew this would be quicker. Cheers
 
Just came here to check up on connection issues as I've been having them all day too. Getting told that it cannot verify my account or whatever and to try again later. Tried the CMD line fix on page 24(ISH) of the thread and it worked first time. Back on MyClub. @Hawke posted it, it's a Reddit link.

Saying that though, I have had a black screen three or four times in the past hour though. Although I do get that with other games sometimes but only when I ALT+TAB. PES has done it on the Game Plan screen, which is a first. Believe it's a Windows 10/GTX1080 bug but PES has brought a new spin to it. :/
 
What's with the grass? Was it like this in the demo? I played the PS4 demo and it looked much better.

This game is a real joy to play on the ball. Off the ball it's a different story, however. AI spams lofted through balls to the flanks, low pass/cross from the wing and diagonal/cutting through balls which are virtually impossible to stop.
 
They have designed the game for 2 players , not 1 v cpu which a lot of us are, the AI cpu team play the exact same way, only difference the top level clubs do more damage in and around the box, but from their own box up to ours it the exact same play book. L1 is still jumping to players is shouldn't on and off the ball.

The right joystick is a better way to switch player, always get the player I want that way.
 
For people have the Code VNBP733 error, i had this error and what i did is close steam and launch it as admin.

I'm on the verge of starting to hate PES very strongly.
It feels more and more and more like PES 2018 with every game I play.

PES 2019 Demo already felt like PES 2018 at times, but the full game?... man I can't tell the difference. I often find myself thinking "what the hell did they work on from October 2017 until August 2018?.
I never regretted buying a game so quickly before. Only 2 days and I'm already sick of it.
 
I have JUST gone back to PES 2018 and play an exhibition game, and... apart from it feeling lighter and a bit quicker... I honestly can't tell the difference. I feel like I bought the wrong game or... maybe forgot to upload the 9 in PES 201.

anyway you could also submit a refund request first even you played more than 2 hours
but ya, I think it won't let me refund but at least I tried
 
Any tricks to keep the game from closing if I process kill steam? All of a sudden if steam is shut via task manager game shuts too.

Nvm found it :SMUG:, kill process after match starts and then it works.
Kit texture alpha changed a bit it seems - too much white stands out big time:

It's a significantly flawed game that many gamers have genuine and valid problems with. They range from Ai to technical issues. If the community doesn't complain then nothing will ever be fixed.
 
Those who have connection issues do following:

- go to control pannel
- open windows firewall
- GO ON ADVANCE
- Now add outbound and INBOUND RULE
- click port and then UDP

default is 5739 so set that one

Damn just as i wanted to play online after the cpu fiasco :D im playing training mode ffs... by the way training. Skills training actually fun! Slso during free training the ball is so free (just like during matches) but i remember trying shooting in training in last games and the ball was drawn to the goal line all the time, but here if you are in wrong body position the ball goes waywards. I really do hope they fix cpu and the ML transfer bug.

I spammed login for 40min without success. This game is broken, PES18 was ok. I changed port for something different, tried many "fix" from reddit, steam forum and from here, all do not work.
Game worked 30.8 when I bought, but since yesterday I have massive problem login to server.
I think, it is the last PES/Fifa I bought on PC, but play the football I must buy console and game= more expensive.

I apologize, but that's offensive ... and full of nonsense... If you had bothered to read a few pages back, before you spoke this BS, you would understand that some People complain because THE GAME I BROKEN for them and it does not launch at all, if you found the way to start running other steam game or shit like that, you can't connect to the servers, if connected to the server after 20 tries, the game crash...
And the gameplay is not that different in the first place...
 
I have to say I'm starting to change my mind about this game - sadly sadly it plays worse than demo. From the first few quick games I haven't been able to notice, but after playing more, I am already seeing what other guys (@Chuny ) were telling - it's somewhat sped up (was playing demo on -1, now even -2 seems too fast), players seem lighter, have ridiculously fast reactions, AI is even more direct and I don't know... now it seems to have PES 2018 all over it. Miss the heaviness of demo. I was having fun while defending - not the case anymore, seems like there's nothing you can do to prevent this one touch pass/low cross madness. Very important point: there are almost no fouls anymore, when I used to have plenty on demo, and this is telling.

Will see if this lasts, not encouraging though.
 
Anyone else ? played many many games smooth, then today 2nd half of game it totally freezes I had to reboot normally I alt cnt del and stop the game that way but not this time.

I tried using konami's email back in 2013 to report cheaters.
Cheating continued so I joined a forum and tried to create/encourage some threads to list cheaters hoping that konami folk would read
Once you try these things without result (and then have the added insult of some konami sponsored folks like curd and daniel spouting sweet nothings) you just know that the only option is to make a point by avoiding the product.

Once the money dries up, so too does the money for false advertising, false PR, lazy production and wastage of resource of guys at konami who just don't want to listen.
 
To allow connection to the Konami server you must open udp port 5739. Follow the steps below:
1) Open Windows Defender

2) go to advanced settings


3) Create a new rule in the input rules, select port and udp, type 5739 in the box and save it.


4) do the same in the exit rules


Every problem is now fixed
 
Quick question guys, why can't I see Juventus in the Italian league?

EDIT: I guess it's PM Black & White...also another question, how do a first touch when receiving the ball?
 
Anyone knows the exact number of teams in-game? From what I've sen, EDIT file has enough space for max 650 teams (including the ones that already exist).
