That is niiice.

I wish I had the skills (or should that be "da skillz") to make something like that.

Yeah that is nice! Kinda reminds me of the kit selection screen off Pro Evo too?

Cant see the fascination with Footballers as your desktop

to me its like having posters of em still in your room

Nice, what Mac do you have?

Macbook Pro, for my 18th birthday :w00t:

Used it for editing a film for A Level coursework, and apparently our group have got an A* for it. So it's certainly come in handy.

Hopefully it'll help me at University, otherwise it's a complete waste of money.

Damn thats a lot of icons!

Doesn't actually have that much stuff on it though. I still need a few things on it. Definitely think its better to have most or all of your applications in your dock though, much easier to open things that way.

Nice, what specs and how much?

I am planning on getting a MacBook for uni, not sure if I should go Pro :-pp

2.5Ghz Core II Duo
250GB HD.
2GB RAM
15.4" non-gloss screen (apparently better for seeing true colours whilst editing, was gonna get a gloss screen till I was told that.)

They'd just been updated when I got mine.

Think it ended up being around £1800 for everything I got.

Got Final Cut, iWork and other stuff with it. One-to-one service at the Apple shop should I get stuck on anything, though I really don't need it anymore because I've learnt it all myself whilst doing all the editing for the film.

You can get a discount just for saying you're doing a course at Uni. I'm doing a Media & Film course and saved about £250

Everything is super quick on it, and the Pro looks far nicer than the normal Macbook. Especially because the White ones usually turn all yellow when they get dirty, my mates has a massive grey-ish mark just because he rests his hand there. Thankfully the aluminium on the Pro is harder to mark (or at least it seems to be that way).

Depends exactly what you're gonna be doing with it. Video and Audio stuff, a Pro would be nicer, but I suppose you'd really need to be doing a lot of it to make it worth it. The normal Macbooks seem pretty decent for doing things.

I only got the Pro because it was my dad paying for it
