Project C.A.R.S - Community Assisted Racing Simulator

Bought this game on PS4 two days ago. And I simply can't stop playing it. Much deeper simulation than all GT games until now for sure. Btw those of you who playing on controller do you use motion controller settings or drive with analog sticks?

What's the general consensus on this then, 8 months on, for someone who's got a soft spot for Gran Tursimo but doesn't otherwise play racing games? I don't mind something being a sim at all as long as it feels like I can make progress. It'll be on PS4 with a pad, I've noticed it's going cheap and thought I might pick it up on payday...
