In desperate search for any Winning Eleven information on the PS3 I came across this post, which is PURE talk and is a rumor .. but just thought of sharing it. Sorry if its been posted.
"

Rumor has it that Konami's Pro Evolution Soccer 2007 for the Playstation 3 would not only be considerably prettier than the Xbox 360 version, but significantly superior - up to three times the quality. This comes from an E-mpires forum boards poster by the handle of Shodan, who quotes a Korean Konami insider's blog (there's also talk about a confirmed Final Fantasy VII remake).

It's a possible theory backed up by some unconfirmed factoids: that Pro Evolution Soccer 2007 would benefit greatly from the large-capacity Blu-Ray format - the popular football game predicted to take up at least 18 GBs' worth of space. There's also the superior framerate the Playstation 3 version would also have, as well as online connectivity.

It's surprising that Konami let this much information slip out, so the veracity of the news is suspect. We can only wait for further developments, and we'll be sure to update you as we get them."

Didn't read it, sorry for repost .. You know the desperation for info Thomas.

Cheers

Now this is why I don't enjoy Winning Eleven silly season.

Rumours get started on this site

They will then travel around the web with some dodgy gaming sites picking it up.

Someone will read one of these dodgy sources and will then quote the rumour on this site again.

woe

Also to add they have only used half of a DVD for 5 years now why would the size of Blu-Ray matter.

Konami are unable to think outside of the box they are too obsessed with licenses, Boots and Hairstyles etc.

They could easily just add millions of leagues from around the world with made up Names, Players and Kits stick on a great edit mode and allow manager movement etc and there you go game is sorted with the added gameplay etc.
