Does the Swap Magic disc become less effective as it accumulates more scratches? Sometimes I can't get the DVD to boot up, however I can get the CD, which has far less scratches, to boot up. I'm using the flip top. I'm thinking about purchases a new disc, but wanted to check if it's most likely the scratches or if the CD boots up more easily.
 
The dvd boots up more easily for me usually - I have an older version using a flip top on a 50000 series - sometimes I just can't get the cd to work at all. The swap magic disk is pressed differently to most others it seems if you look at it and the scratches certainly won't help!
