The TV Show Thread

Watched FlashForward last night, thought it was very good and I liked how the visions started panning out.
 
Really liked FlashForward, hope they keep some tempo in it as I can see it going a bit Lost on us and losing direction somewhat. And hopefully they can keep the special effect up as it really adds scale to the story seeing Paris, London, etc.
 
Is FlashForward on UK TV at all, or just US at the moment?

EDIT: Ah cool, just found it - Ep1 starts 9pm on Monday C5 :)

Not bad, moved the story on a bit and it's good to have it back.

No Miracle Laurie (Mellie) this week though :(
 
Does anyone have any thoughts on In Treatment? I noticed it's starting on Sky soon.
 
I watched most of the first season and found it really intriguing. Episodes are short but you find you get attached to the characters quite a lot.

Worth a watch.
 
Anybody see Derren Brown tonight? If you didn't, I don't want to ruin it for you, but if you're a fan (or you hate him) you should try to watch it. Or at least the last 10 minutes or so.

I watched it the other night and the last 10 minutes, I was expecting to see something else after the credits like him coming out and saying 'ahh actually...' ... well if you've seen it you'll know.

Other than that the episode wasn't great, found myself getting restless and a bit bored at times. Needs to pick up a bit, kinda like they're running out of stories now.
 
Won't be for a while it seems, it took Five ages to show S2 and when they did they dumped it on Fiver.
 
I used to like Derren Brown but all the stuff he is doing now just seems like its setup with stooges

The roulette and lottery things were pure shite because it aint possible to do what he claims he did

And who would go into a shop unplug a TV then walk out with it just after sitting at a table across from?

Even worse who the fuck would give a tramp his shoes then just walk home barefooted? :LOL:

Funny you say that about the TV. I work at Tesco and about 2 years ago, two guys stole a 32 inch HDTV by simply unplugging the display unit and walking out with it. They did it so casually that no one noticed they were robbing it. Yes, people can be dumb enough to let you get away with shit like that.

loved the last episode of the office, the whole maid of the mist / youtube wedding video montage was class. pure class!

i really admire the writers for all the fantastic ideas they came up with over the last years...they allways kept it entertaining and fun.
