seening as they have Estadio do Dragao the should have something like the maracana and wembley if england are still licenced

konami let my hopes down with this graphics :( i know its about game play and this is the important thing in soccer games but after all this waitting for the game its appers like this i wish konami will give us good next-gen footy game with the use of the cell pro power ,, coz when i first play the fifa 07 in 36o i said WOW for the real big move in the graphics also the big move konami make from Psx to the PS2 system so i wish every thing will go well

Look at his face textures^^^ How unrealistic is that?

I'd take my face textures over that one anytime...
I changed the background grass and did some minor effects. Tell me this still doesn't look better... and I reduced the size too.

Put it this way, if this pic was released today then all the konami fanboys on here would be whacking one off over how much of an improvement it is and how konami have stepped up their game to the next gen quality.

Personally i don't buy the Beta story (and now it became pre beta, in some time it's gonna be pre pre alfa.....).

If you wanna promote your product you had better show it at the best you can. So makes no sense to me to show those pictures, I would have rather being more hyped by the press release only with the new info about advanced gameplay. NOt impressed how they handled the first release of info at all.

Personal opinion of course, and yes screens tell very little about games, i can't wait for some video to make a more proper judgment-

I expect the animations to be very fluidy and rich. Incredible? Outstanding? Unbelievably realistic? No. Not anymore.

Even if they were, the graphics are too bad to impress me.

Oh my god!

I wake up this morning, no news. Go to work and find this when I come home (already 12 pages in this thread?).

My first impression is the game looks a lot like pes6 on the 360, I fear the worst. But at least this time they did a better job on player faces compared to pes6 on 360 (where the faces was messed up).

Anyway, at least I just hope the gameplay is way improved from pes6 360. Give me that and I'm a happy fella.

Two new national teams sponserd by Nike, in pes6 we even had a Nike ball when playing La Liga... maybe there is a slight chans we can have Nike sponsorship in the pes2008 (whit boots and balls)? I'm sure its in Nikes interest as much as it is in Konamis interest!

Sweat doesn't drip. Basically what you get will be like FIFA, a pre-set patch of lines appears on the players face which is shiny.

1. "Guy in the conference" is created using the engine.
2. Your "patched" version of pes6 is patched with real faces, NOT faces created using engine.

Conclusion: You cannot compare them. If you want to compare then get the original pes6 faces and kits and compare them to pes 2008. Your comparison case is too weak.

Don't be so harsh on the knight screenshots, they are clearly a pre beta pes6 patched version. In 3-4 months they are gonna be amazing.....:)
