Build quality wise the xbox 360 is a pile of crap compared to the ps3. its like comparing a LADA (xbox 360) to a BMW (PS3). i own both and the 360 has too many problems. Microsoft themselves wont even admit the failure rates of their own console. Dont get me wrong, i love playing on my 360. But you have to be honest in these things. the same way the Xbox1 was superior to the PS2, the PS3 is superior to the Xbox 360. It might not be by much but u get what you pay for my friend, thats just the way life is.

Hey Suffwan.. Thanks for all the efforts for putting the blog together, I believe I either talked with you or Adonis over at ps3forums.com .. but again thanks for everyone involved.

I check the blog almost twice a day, great efforts .. but by the way, I tried switching the language, just to see how it looks but nothing happens. It seems the page refreshes itself and still be in English. I tried this with different languages, but same results. Suffwan .. I figured thats your name, since I saw your post before :P

But then some users should just use a bit of common sense on these things and understand how Video Games are made and ported to other systems and NOT re-made..

Looks like you cant have your own opinions these days!

Yo Kuwaity, what browser are u using? thats very strange because it works perfectly for me no matter what browser i use. i will keep testing and check to see if there is anything i can do. thanks for letting me know!

I'm using Firefox and I got the same problem. I can't switch between the languages...

I was wondering, your "contact" (the guy you spoke about in the third podcast), who has played the beta in the second quarter of this year,
how does he compare the screenshots that were released to the actual beta game (graphics) he played?

Have you guys spoken to him after the screens were released?
I'm curious what he has to say...

You're all allowed your opinion, but when every argument is turned into 360 vs PS3 and resorting to the clichéd "fanboy" quip, it descends into a farce.

We can argue which version of the game will look better until we're blue in the face, but with no back up to our thoughts/arguments, then it's a waste of time.

That said, if and when you're proven right (PS3 & 360 are identical), I'll give you the chance to say "I told you so" - just the once, though.

but the guy speak about december before or after so still blurring.

June 23th = Hobby's Fair with JWE2007CC presentation (Maybe WE11)

I've been reading this thread with intrest and a litle bit of irritation b ecause of the console war...but overall...very fascinating. Thanks to everybody who has got some information...

Now IMHO people focus too much on graphics, once you are playing a game all the eye candy does not matter...

This thread is too much influenced by NBA 2K7...it has become something of a benchmark for sports games...

I have NBA 2K7 (PS3 version, but sometimes i wished i had the XBOX360 instead of the PS3...so i'm not saying anything about the hardware, it's about the game) and yes it's beautiful...especially if you take the time to watch the audience...there's happening so much around the pitch that i was beaten with a landslide in that particular game...and that's my point: basically eye candy does not matter when you are immersed in a game (best example is Football Manager or before Championship Manager: no eye candy at all but maybe the most fascinating game ever...you really feel like a football manager).

So my (humble) conclusion: let's wait for the game...even a video will not give us a good reliable opinion on the game.

At the end of the day, who cares which looks better out of the PS3 and 360 versions? The PC version should look better than all of them ;) Higher resolutions, better textures, moddable...what more could a PES gamer want!

To be honest, I play current WE/PES series with the Camera set to "Wide" and almost all my friends do that as well, main reason is being able to see more of the field for passes and running and what-not.

Never really cared that much for graphics because most of the time I'm on max zoom out.

For the people who are not really happy about the graphics, what type of camera do you use when you play?!

Definitely a good point. But I am a replay junkie, and even though I also play with Wide (I can't understand why someone wouldn't tbh ;)) I see alot of the game from close-up aswell.

Let's just say that nice graphics wouldn't hurt. :)


And also, I play PES6 PC in 1920x1440. Obviously I can do this because it isn't graphics intense, but the details even at wide camera at high resolutions are noticeable.


And part of the fun of playing FIFA (well, the only fun for me...) is to zoom in and see the hairs on a players head move as he runs, or to zoom in and see a players boot striking the ball with a perfect contact surface (no clipping or boots through balls) etc. :)

I just want to fastforward a month or two so we get some solid final info. \\:o/
