I have this nagging feeling that the improvements to the ML will consist of nothing more than the pub scenes.
I remember when they proudly announced having Queen's "We Will Rock You" sound track as being a major feature in one of the early PES games, PES2 I think?
That pretty much set the standard for the types of things that they consider major feature improvements.

but you know the screens that we have seen so far, some people are criticising them saying the players look "cartoony".
Well if you look back at the one with kaka it looks much better than the newer master league screens with those low res faces on players. Correct me if I am wrong, but wasnt that kaka screen from the 360/PC version? Maybe just maybe the final versions of the 360 and Ps3 will have the high res faces for generic and real faces. It makes a huge difference to the feel. Maybe as JB suggests that his contact was playing an alpha version.

but this one with a more detailed real face looks so much better

i told u guys next gen already started with pes6 on 360 its a shame that not too many have that one(It's not the true next-gen game but i believe its vital for everyone who really really love the series and have some extra money to get it) .

1. The graphics of the in game shot are horrendous. If the final game looks anything like that whatsoever Konami are going to have a shit-storm to deal with. (Aren't those shots meant to be full HD? God forbid they had released screenshots on a standard TV)
2. People are putting the difference of opinion between the two contacts down to them being provided alternate releases of the game. I think that's a very cosy assumption and leans closely towards plausible deniability - being a cynic and all I expect it's down to the fact that one is from KONAMI PR and the other is not.
The guy has come out and said, in a sweeping statement that Konami are more or less attempting to copy Fifa. Are you telling me that between two different beta releases, perhaps differing by a timespan of no more than a week, can be so extravagantly different that they appear to have totally different styles?

I'll never take another's opinion as the gospel, particularly when it comes to subjective things like the actual gameplay experience, but I'm certainly more inclined to believe a cautious opinion than a rave one.
Not to mention the fact that we're dealing with 2 different people's opinions.

Everytime I have got hold of the latest WE/PES game in the past my first impressions have always been "Shit, this is awful compared to the last one".
This was the same from International Superstar Soccer Pro International to PES to PES2 to PES3 and so on. I hated PES6 when it was released and the first few times i played it I was ranting like a looney.
But now I love PES6. The greatest footie game ever created in my opinion and better than all the others put together. I am always so very sceptical right up until I've played the game at least 20 times. Then it ALWAYS comes good. It will this time too, I am sure of it.

Heheh i dont know why so many are getting so worried about all this pre-game information/speculation. I just cant wait till the bunch of reviews coming from those playing the official game...
Oh, and some video footage..
The important things to get from this early info is mainly new features etc, not gameplay.. as this cant really be experienced until the demo or official versions are played.
