why are people so crazy about juno? average teenage movie with one really stronge actress, a really predictable storyline, solid soundtrack and nothing that stands out that much from other "ok" movies.

2/5 at a max. for me.
 
Maybe I should watch X-files. I saw a few episodes many years ago and they all seemed to have the same ending. (where the threat is stopped but there is one hiding at the end). After seeing it four or five times, it got really boring.
 
Agreed matherto, possibly the best of the three for me.

Just watched Hitman, I really enjoyed it. Great action flick. Tbag and Desmond are in it too:D Boy oh boy the Russian chick was hot!
 
Just a quick question Milanista, are you a fan of the Hitman games?

Only people I know of that like it seems to be massive fans of the games.

It was perhaps the worst film I'd seen in a long time when I saw it, but you're right, Olga Kurylenko is just phwoar!

She's in the next Bond film as well.

Can't remember if I talked about it in here. I loved it and loved her. I finished all the games and I think it's faithful enough to the series. But the sword fight is the worst scene ever (and was not in the origianl script, thanks FOX).

Im a fan of the concept, but never completed any games... always thought they were too hard. The movie may have been a bit stupid, but I got what I expected - action. I was just craving an action flick so got Hitman. I loved some of the shooting scenes because it made him look badass.

Loved the bit where he jumped into the room and saw 2 guys playing Hitman :LOL:

Oh well fair enough, if you want action and a badass protagonist, then it was a very good film, similar to Casino Royale (I thought it was a terrible film, but from an action standpoint, couldn't really ask for more).

Can't agree on the spoiler though, I thought that was the worst bit, the cheesiest most terrible thing to put in the film :LOL:

Awesome spanish movie. You see the movie through a camera but it's way better than Cloverfield.

Seconded tuta77! - Very good horror movie! Made me jump in parts! Tell you what though it was much better the second time round when I figured out how to stick the English subtitles on lol
 
Just watched it. I have to say its one of the scariest films ive seen in AGES. Its constant tension all movie. I dont even want to go into dark places anymore.
 
Did you have subtitles on it then stef?

didnt that take anything away from the movie?
 
Have to say Coopz that the dialogue isn't massive in it, it's all about the tension and horror of the events. In the first 30mins there's a lot of talking but after that it's fine.

I know what you mean though Coopz, I rarely watch foreign films for that exact reason.
 
Coopz it didnt really change much for me. I did think that they were easy to follow and that the story was alright. But either way, close all your curtains and turn off all your lights.:D
